Meet Yoda   Meet Yoda our precious solid black house panther girl ! She is in search of a very special person or family as she has tested positive for FELV in October 2024 and will need special consideration. She is very playful and loving and has super loud purrs. She loves to snuggle during  more chill time and also still loves her playtime. She and her siblings have been in foster care since birth and have always been healthy. Kitties such as Yoda must remain as only kitties  and they can be adopted individually or in combination with one of her FELV siblings. They need to be the only cats in the household as they could spread the virus to uninfected cats.    It is important to note that not all cats react the same way once they get the FeLV virus. Some cats may begin showing symptoms nearly immediately after being exposed to the virus. At the same time, other cats exposed to the Feline Leukemia Virus can go months or years without experiencing any symptoms. Interestingly, some cats are able to defeat the virus without any medical attention.   Positive results can show for cats that are fighting feline leukemia effectively. In eight to twelve weeks, it is likely that your veterinarian will conduct a second test to see if the virus remains in the blood.
