See Woof’s HomepageGo to our official website WOOF is an adorable fuzzy little mixed breed boy who will soon be a furry little mixed breed boy. Woof came to us from a rural shelter missing most of the fur onthe back half of his body thanks to flea dermatitis and a skin infection. The fleas are gone, the infection is clearing up and with good nutrition, he's "hairing up" quickly. It's difficult to guess his breed until his coat grows back. Woof appears to be part Jack Russell Terrier. We suspect he may have some Australian Shepherd and/or border collie and heaven only knows what else. Woof is friendly and affectionate, around 5 years old and fully grown at 19 pounds. He is good with other dogs but the jury is still out on cats. If you'd like to meet Woof, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Woof at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
