Wendy is a 13-week-old, 6 lb., female. She is a mixed breed puppy, possibly hound mix. She  and her littermates are a local surrender that came in malnourished and covered in fleas. They have been thriving in their foster homes with an appropriate diet, monthly preventatives, and lots and lots of love! Wendy is working on house training and basic commands. She will do well with cats, dogs, and kids with proper training and introductions.  Wendy and her littermates will only be adopted to a family living within 45 minutes of Des Moines due to the continued routine vet care they need. The restriction will be lifted after their puppy vaccinations and neuter is complete in early November.  Meet Wendy, a resilient little pup with a heart full of hope!
