Critter Details

Name: Tabbee Age: Young / DOB: 11/18/23 Gender: Female Breed: Shepherd mix  Weight: 36 pounds Dog friendly: Dog selective Cat friendly: No cats, please Child friendly: Yes (Any age) House trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Energy level: Moderate Temperament: Intelligent, playful, devoted, tender-hearted Requirement: Not apartment appropriate and seeking a petless adoptive home  Adoption Fee: $375+tax   From the Foster Family: Tabbee is a fantastic dog who came up to MN from down south in April! She has been so easy for a young dog. She is brilliant and wants to learn everything you're willing to teach her. With her treat drive, it's easy to teach her new things! Tabbee is potty trained (bell method) and knows to sit and lay down. She is currently working on "look" (looking the owner in the eye), "leave it", and "stay/wait". She's also learning loose-leash walking and all the good walking habits (like sitting at corners).    She would love to cuddle up and watch your favorite show with you she's more of a people dog and would do best in a home without other pets. Her favorite toys are chew toys, rope toys, and squeaky toys! She doesn't play tug so she flosses her teeth with the rope toys.    She does good in her crate when we're gone but she does not like to be left alone (some separation anxiety from before she came up to MN). For this reason, we think she'd do best in a home where someone is around most of the time.    About Me: Hiya! I'm Tabbee but my foster family calls me Tibby Tabbs because I tap dance when excited. I love playing with toys of all kinds.  And my absolute favorite activity is giving everyone KISSES! They're the best.    I LOVE being outside and rolling in the grass. I don't mind paw cleanings and baths, too! I'm a little nervous about nail trims, but when foster mom is gentle and speaks soothingly to me while she trims them, I don't mind so much. I've already learned new tricks and my foster parents are teaching me more. It's a lot of fun. I'd love to learn from you and your family!
