I'm Smokey and even though I am only 4 ½ years old, my foster mom has nicknamed me an old soul. Why? From the first day I came to her it was not hard to see that I was the calmest, gentle giant she had ever interacted with. Initially, I was shy but quickly warmed up, and now, every day consists of following my foster mom around and wanting to be joined at the hip with everyone I have interacted with. I love hanging around the house and my foster mom is trying to teach me I am not a lap dog, but I love everyone so much that I want to never leave their side! I am very treat-driven and will do just about anything for one! My foster mom has cats and to be honest, I don’t mind them because all I do is look at them and keep walking. I am one of four dogs in the home and get along well with all of them. I like my furry friends so much that I would do best in a home that has another dog.  I have not been around children so far but, based on my temperament, I would be a rock star at it. Don’t let me being 96 pounds fool you, I am so relaxed and laid back that I do not require a fence. Two other fun facts about me are that I am crate trained and housebroken.
