This friendly, sweet little 4-year young Terrier Chihuahua mix gal weighs in at a whopping 7lbs soaking wet – and she would love nothing more than a warm lap to snuggle up on! Initially shy and scared when first entering the shelter, Sky has blossomed in foster care with Second Chance. Sky is quick to warm up once she feels it is safe and once she does, look out for the cuddles and sweet little kisses! She will ask for pets and crawl into your lap for cuddles, and she loves to sleep burrowed in blankets. She is good with all people and animals! Sky is fostered with small and big dogs and loves running around with the pack, and does not have interest in the chickens and cats she's also fostered with – so if you have other non-canines in the home, she'll be just fine. She's a pro at potty training once she learns the layout of your home. She loves to sunbathe and run around a yard if she has one, but we think she'll be OK in an apartment setting as well. We haven't seen her around children, but we think she would be fine if they are gentle and understand small dog boundaries. She is an even tempered sweet little gal that just wants to go to her forever home. Sky is spayed, up to date on shots, up to date on flea meds, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
