Critter Details

Rosie was a stray in South Carolina who was picked up by a good samaritan along with two other dogs.  The shelter picked them all up and quickly realized that Rosie was pregnant.  They were able to put Rosie in a foster home, and they guessed that she would deliver her puppies within two weeks. They were right.  Rosie had 10 puppies, but unfortunately one of them didn’t survive.  Poor Rosie worked so hard to feed her babies as much as she could, but it took a toll on her body.  She was very thin, and eventually unable to feed them any more.  Luckily, the pups began to eat mush and were able to survive. Rosie is now healthy and happy in her new foster home. Rosie is a very sweet girl and is gaining confidence every day. She loves people and is great with other dogs. Rosie would love to find her forever home.Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org
