If you have questions please EMAIL rescue.me.pa@gmail.com or visit mommyandmerescue.com Kennel License: NP 16320 Ronnie & Annie Pug Mix Females AGE: 13 years Weight: 25lbs In late July of 2013, shortly after I started the rescue I received a call about two small pug mixes that had been padlocked in a tiny cage and thrown from the back of a pickup truck into the strippin’ pits where dynamiting was taking place. But prior to being tortured in this way, they were starved. These poor girls, just around 8 months old, were neglected and abused. After being treated, brought back from the brink of starvation and finally spayed, the girls were adopted by a wonderful couple. For 12 years Ronnie and Annie had the best life. They were pampered, well cared for, and loved. The couple devoted themselves to giving the girls the wonderful life they deserved. Tragically, now at age 13 (estimated) life has changed again for the girls. Circumstances beyond their control and beyond their beloved owner’s control has brought them back to our rescue. The owners are devastated but despite their grief they did the right thing and returned the girls to us so that we could find them a new family. Ronnie and Annie are both healthy and have a lot of good years ahead of them. They just need a family to share those years with. Ronnie and Annie are friendly, sweet, outgoing, darling little girls who will steal your heart and love you unconditionally. They like other dogs and are good with kids, tho they do jump on little kids and may knock them over. We feel that they would do best in a quiet home with someone who is home a lot to give them the love and attention they deserve.  Ronnie and Annie do like going for walks but they pull a bit. They love sitting outside with their person and enjoying the sun. They are crate-trained and house-trained. The adoption fee for Ronnie and Annie is covered, but you must submit the application and have great vet references to be considered to adopt them.
