See Romeo’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Romeo is the most loving, loyal cat I have ever met! He is gentle, comes when he is called, and seems to live for attention from me! He would make the IDEAL best friend for anyone who wants a full time BEST FRIEND! When Romeo is snuggling in my lap with 2 or more of his siblings, he will slowly push them off my lap with his back legs until he is the only one left to get cuddles. Then he looks at me so innocently!! He is my #1 love!!! The other thing that always makes me chuckle is when I am on my phone and he wants attention, he will reach up slowly to the phone and scroll whatever I was looking at away!! It always works! I put the phone down and give him my full attention! Romeo is a hoot to watch play with his toys! His favorite are stuffed mice of any size. He will throw them all over, sharing the fun with his siblings! Romeo is from a stray surrender with 4 companions If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
