We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Poppy is still available!  An update from her foster mom-Poppy is doing great on the leash. We are working on house training and some basic commands. For the most part she knows stay and we are working on sit. She gets along great with Flo and Asher (canine foster siblings) and loves to cuddle with Flo. She had her first ham bone recently and wasn’t really sure what do with it until she watched her foster siblings. She has come out of her shell and will initiate play now. She is a quiet, gentle puppy. I haven’t even heard her bark or growl. She’s about 7 months old. We do not know her breed but possibly Boxer mix? Lab mix? Probably several breeds mixed together to make a Poppy! Good with other dogs. She has met cats through the baby gate and was curious but didn’t bark, didn’t show any signs of aggression. She was actually nose to nose with one of the cats without issue. She has not been around kids. She is spayed and is utd on all vaccs, heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
