Introducing the one and only Petey! He came to us with a horrible double hernia that required multiple surgeries but thankfully he is now recovered and ready to find his forever family. Petey has two speeds… the energizer bunny or snuggle bug. He loves to make everyone smile and enjoys being around other furry friends. Petey does not care for the cold weather but he will hurry back inside to warm up! Petey is very curious and does sleep in a crate at his foster home.  If Petey sounds like your kind of dude- send in an application and one of his CCRC friends will be in touch!  We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
