To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE   Age: 4 months (as of 4/15/25) Weight: 14 lbs (as of 4/10/25) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Peggy, a bundle of joy and energy. Peggy and her brother Hank can’t wait to meet you! This sweet and goofy puppy is always up for a game, showing off her playful nature. She's a quick learner, her intelligence shining through in the way she quickly figures out new toys. Despite her playful side, Peggy also has a shy streak. She takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she's your best friend. Peggy has a gentle nature, making her great with kids. She's also cat-friendly, co-existing peacefully with feline companions. Being just puppies, Hank and Peggy will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. This lovable puppy is looking for a family to share her love and playful antics with. Adopt Peggy and let her fill your home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application – SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know – For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
