Nimbus has started exploring the house now that he's no longer confined to his own room. He enjoys lounging by a window on a soft blanket, soaking up the view. He's incredibly affectionate, giving plenty of head butts to get your attention. Nimbus loves being brushed, which is great because his thick, luxurious fur needs regular grooming. While he isn’t a lap cat, he enjoys being petted and will happily sit beside you for some attention. Since being here, Nimbus has had perfect litterbox manners, using it consistently—even when I’m around. He’s comfortable sharing the boxes with two other cats and hasn’t had a single accident. He’s still adjusting to my cat June Bug, who tends to hiss at him, but Nimbus no longer runs to his hideaway when she passes by. He’s also curious about my other cat, who mostly ignores him. When the dogs are inside, Nimbus prefers to stay hidden or find a safe perch where he can comfortably watch from afar. I think he would thrive in a home without dogs, or with calm, laid-back ones. Nimbus would do best in a quiet, peaceful home. He’s good with older children and mellow cats, but like all new pets, he’ll need time to adjust to his new surroundings.
