Meet Nelson, a resilient 8-month old Shepherd/Terrier mix looking for his forever home! This adorable 25 pound pup is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy to your life. Nelson loves to go for walks and is super playful, always ready for fun! He’s crate trained, house trained, and gets along with other dogs. His cute ears add to his lovable personality! Despite having had a leg amputated due to an injury, Nelson gets around just fine and is always up for adventure. His strength and resilience make him an even more special companion. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.     *** Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ***
