See Mocha’s HomepageGo to our official website Meet Mocha, a 6-month-old Mocha schnauzer puppy! Mocha is a very sweet, and gentle puppy. She loves to cuddle and be carried and is low energy for a puppy. She is a great lap dog for her fosters who are 2 retired folks. She is crate trained and doing well on potty training, but you need to watch her cues to go out or she will have an accident – but she is just a baby after all! She loves playing and running around the yard with the resident schnauzer. She also loves following her foster mom all around the house when inside. At night, she likes to curl up with foster dad as they all sit together and watch tv at the end of the day. Sometimes she even likes to sit on top of the couch and lay on their heads! She will need continued socialization with humans but is coming around very quickly, with patience, love, and treats. She is still a little shy with new people and children, and might give a scared little bark, but over time and training we think she will come out of her shell and learn we are all here to love her. She is great at sharing bones and toys with the resident dog too. She will also need to learn how to walk with a leash on – we think a harness would be best as she is learning this. She is just a baby puppy, so all this training should be expected when adopting this sweet girl, but she will be worth it! She loves car rides and likes to just nap on her pillow while riding wherever she goes. She likes to be brushed and groomed – which is great because Schnauzers require a lot of grooming! If you are looking for a sweet, quiet, and gentle lap dog, this is your girl!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
