See Millie: Not At shelter (Sara)’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beagle-mix MILLIE was adopted earlier this summer, but has suddenly decided that the chickens at her adoptive home are too good to pass up, and she is now intent on destroying them. Millie is 30 pounds of love, and truly an easy dog to love. She is house trained, and at two years old is a great age to have around children and toddlers. She was at the shelter for a very short time before adoption, and we hope she won’t have to be there again if we can help find her a home quickly. We always take our dogs back into care when needed, and understand that on a farm, finding the right dog that will not harm livestock is important. Millie is gentle, receptive to training, and would love to be in your home! Please start with an application so we can get her rehomed fast! She’s very energetic and gets along with dogs and cats (she will chase cats if they run though.) PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
