Hi, I’m Margo! I’m a happy, energetic, and super curious little bunny. I'm a black beauty with a moderate energy level – I love my zoomies and binkies! You’ll see me hopping around and bouncing off the couch multiple times a day, it's one of my favorite things to do!   I’m not a big fan of being picked up (it’s just not my thing), but I’m all about exploring the world around me! I love roaming freely, checking out everything that catches my eye. I can get startled by sudden loud noises or quick movements, but go from being curious instead of fearful in a matter of seconds. When I do settle down for pets, you better believe I’m ready for some serious face and nose scratches. I’ll even push my nose up in the air to make sure you know just how much I love it!   Since I'm young, everything around me is new and exciting! I can sometimes dig or chew on things I'm not supposed to, so I need some supervision if my space isn't bunny-proofed. One thing I can always be counted on for is perfect litter box habits. No stray poop or pee here, I’m very tidy. I also don’t need much grooming – just a quick brush once a week (more if I'm shedding a lot), but don’t forget, I need a rubber cat brush for my soft Rex fur.   When it comes to food, I’m a fan of fresh leafy greens – those are my favorite – even before pellets! I don’t really have a taste for raspberries or cucumbers, but anything else? I’m in! I also love my bedtime treat and can drink lots of water, so I’ve got two dishes in my enclosure to make sure I never run out.    I haven’t met any cats or dogs, but I’m not so fond of young children. Older, quieter kids who understand bunny boundaries should be just fine, though. I think I’d do well either with a bunny friend or as a single lady, as long as I’m with a family who’s ready to give me all the attention and enrichment I need!   So, if you’ve got a loving home with room for a curious bunny like me, I’d love to be part of it!   *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 7/21/2024 Approximate weight: 4.02 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.      If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
