Heartworm PositiveMy adoption fee is $300 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. The rescue will pay for the injections for HW treatment at Shoreline Vet. in Jacksonville. My adopter would be responsible for the take home meds which average about $200, depending on size, over the 4-month span of treatment. Maple came to our home scared and very skinny. She is a very lovable dog that has a lot to offer a furrever home. She gets along well with the other 4 dogs in the home and is potty trained.  She loves to go for walks and does not pull on the leash. She loves sticking her nose in the toybox to see what she can find to play with, loves car rides where she sits and tilts her head back and let the wind blow in her face. She has shown no signs of aggression, baths are okay, so long as you don’t consider bringing out the hairdryer or nail clippers, she wants none of that!
