We have not seen Luke interact with kids or cats, but he can be tested.   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Luke is Looking For:    Luke is a handsome sweet boy looking for a safe place to call his forever home. He wants a family who will take him for long sniffy walks and give him chances to play with other dogs. Scratchies, snuggles, treats and toys are all on the top of his wish list, but mostly he wants a soft bed in a loving home. What My Foster Says About Me:    Luke is an absolute sweetheart and a loyal, loving, snuggle buddy! He still has puppy energy but can easily pivot to “relax mode” and responds very well to corrections. He likes playing with his treat puzzle, snuggling with his plush toys, and chewing on his rope toy. He does wonderful in his crate! On walks, he is highly curious, sniffy, and stays alert at all times, but he’s not reactive and is quick to warm up to new people and dogs. He has the most soulful eyes and loves getting belly rubs and ear scratches and taking naps with his head in your lap. Luke has long, lithe, limbs and gallops around the fenced-in backyard like a gazelle but hasn’t shown any signs of trying to escape the fence – this loyal lovebug wants to stay close to his humans!   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
