I came from Pine Ridge Reservation.  I lived with my family in a tent, but then they decided to move and left me behind. Now I am learning about the good life of living in-doors. I’m the perfect mix of being a playful pup and a couch potato. I give the best kisses and love to be with humans. I am the perfect size for snuggling with.  I enjoy naps on your lap or next to you on the couch. I greet all people, including kids with excitement, which means I might sometimes jump up, but I am working on my manners.  My excitement for play and attention has a gentle demeanor and is not aggressive in any form.  I get along with the three resident dogs in the home, as well as the other foster dog.  The size of the dog does not intimidate me, I can hold my own even with my petite size. I also get along with my fosters’ kittens. I tend to just ignore them, but occasionally I like to sniff them. I am being kenneled at night and I’m doing a good job keeping it clean.  I bark for a few minutes when I first go in, but that’s because I just want to be with my people. Then I settle down and go to sleep until the morning when everyone wakes.  Overall, I am doing good with potty training and learning commands.  I know "sit" and "come" very well. I enjoy going on walks and doing well being on a leash.  Do I sound like a good fit for you? I sure hope so because I am ready to find my forever family. Lucas Rock is from a local reservation.
