See Liselle’s HomepageGo to our official website"From every wound, there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says, I survived.” Liselle is a petite Pyr. She is what we call a pocket Pyr and weighs 46 pounds. She is sweet and affectionate. She is a happy little Pyr and will dance around when she sees you and will paw at you to be petted.   Liselle was rescued from a Texas animal shelter as a stray with a back leg she carried and did not use. Her foster mom says, “she is a vibrant dog even with all she has been through, shattered leg, amputation, and a broken tail. The dogs in her foster home give Liselle confidence and help her feel safe.”   She gets around happily, going on walks in the park. She has no problem getting on the sofa for a nap or getting out of the car, although she still needs help getting in. Liselle is potty trained and is perfectly behaved in the house.    Liselle would like to be with another friendly dog to show her the ropes in her forever home. She would thrive in a family that will give her lots of love and snuggles. Liselle would do best in a home without a lot of stairs and floors that are not too slippery. Area rugs are great for her.
