Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs – but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team Date into Rescue: 04/02/2025 Reason for being in rescue: Owner Surrender Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Levi is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Levi is a miniature goldendoodle. We will never guarantee a doodle is hypoallergenic or that they won't shed. Weight: 16 lbs and growing – we expect Levi will be between 23-30 lbs when full grown Height: 16 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $349 Fence needed? Yes, Levi is an active puppy and will need a yard with a securely fenced area, at least 4 feet tall, to safely romp and play. What kind of home would be best for me? Levi needs adopters with an active lifestyle. Whether you’re a single person, a couple, or a family, Levi will thrive in a home where he can get plenty of physical and mental exercise. Due to his high energy, he is not suited for homes with toddlers or young children. A home with children aged 8 or older would be ideal. Levi requires a home with another active dog who can be his playmate and mentor. The other dog should be no older than 8 years old and also enjoy playing and running with other dogs. Levi will not be adopted into a home with senior dogs. Having another dog to help him learn and burn off energy would be a huge benefit for this playful pup. A securely fenced yard is essential for Levi so he can run, play, and tire himself out physically. He’s a highly active, agile puppy who thrives on both mental and physical stimulation. Levi is searching for his forever home with adopters who are ready to give him love, attention, and training. If you have the time, energy, and patience to help him grow into a well-behaved adult, Levi will bring joy and adventure to your life. There will never be a dull moment with Levi as part of your family! What is my personality like? Meet Levi, a loving and energetic little boy who wants to be by your side at all times! Levi is a playful puppy who adores people (especially you!) and loves to play with both people and other dogs. If you take him home, be prepared for him to follow you everywhere — yes, even into the bathroom (so make sure you lock that door!). Levi is still learning everything — from basic commands to walking nicely on a leash. He will need some patience and training, especially with potty training, as he’s still a puppy and will need frequent potty breaks during both day and night. As a puppy, Levi tends to chew on everything, including your hand, arm, or pant leg. His ideal adopter will have experience raising a puppy into adulthood and will be prepared for the time and attention he needs, nearly constantly. Having Levi is like raising a toddler — full of energy and curiosity! He’ll need toys and guidance to help him grow into a well-behaved dog. Whether it’s with people, dogs, or even cats (if they can keep up!), Levi always up for a good time. How do I act when I first meet new people? Hey friend, come play with me! I absolutely LOVE people and want to be with them every minute of the day. Other tips and tidbits: We estimate Levi’s birthday to be on or around 09/02/2024. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note – we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you – poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.
