Meet Lady Love Bug, the mixed breed puppy! This little pup came into the Shelter as a stray found in the Seabright neighborhood of Santa Cruz. A good samaritan brought her in so she would be safe and we could attempt to find her guardians. We do not know what breed she is exactly – likely a mix of multiple breeds. With her stray hold coming to an end and no guardian coming forward to reclaim – Lady Love Bug is ready to find an adoptive family. This sweetie has been hanging out in a foster home getting all the extra TLC and care a puppy desearves. Her foster family reports: ‘She has been so sweet! She has been using her pee pads and also going potty outdoors.’ With her foster parents starting her off on the right paw – Lady Love Bug is looking for a patient adopter to continue helping her learn life skills and manners like potty training and leash walking.
