Name:   Koko         Best Guess for Breed:   Red Heeler/Terrier mix Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of March 2025      SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   33 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with kids or cats but are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters.    Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter – Koko needs a foster or adopter to make her way to the DC area.   Koko is Looking For:    Koko is a 2-year-old Red Heeler with a heart full of love and a mind ready for adventure! This smart, medium-sized girl has all the classic traits of her breed—she’s intelligent, loyal, and always eager to learn. Right now, though, she hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world and is eager to get her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and grand adventures to burn all that young-dog energy. Quality kibble, cushy dog bed, treatos – all good but bottom line, she wants to be safe and loved and know where she belongs.
