    Hello, my name is Kenickie. I’m a sweet little old man looking for a forever home in which to spend my retirement years.   I’m 12.5 years old, 14.5 pounds, and probably a Jack Russell Terrier mix. I’m a friendly little guy and warm up to new people quickly. I like to be near my person and am very much a lap dog. Although I’m a senior dog, I’m in good health and get around just fine. I’m crate trained but don’t really require one. I’m also good on leash. I’m house trained, but I need to go out every few hours.   I also get along well with other dogs. I tend to mind my own business and am not interested in playing, but I’m content to be on the same couch with another dog as long as they let me be by my person. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a cat.   I would prefer a quiet home without young children and for my person to be home more often than not because I need to potty every few hours and I just really enjoy being with my person. Being alone isn’t fun!   I had a loving home for many years, but my person got sick and couldn’t keep me.
