KATHERINE WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR HER SPAY IN JUNE AND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL AFTER HER SPAY IF SHE HAS NOT BEEN ADOPTED BEFORE THEN. Katherine, aka Katie, is an approximate 9-week-old, 7 lb., female, possible Golden Retriever mix. She came from Oklahoma with her 9 siblings after being rescued from under a house with her momma. Momma looks like a possible Golden Retriever mix and is around 40 lbs. We don't know who Daddy is. She is a curious, fun-loving pup who enjoys playing with her littermate, gets along well with older dogs, and plays well with toys on her own. She is moderately active, and calms easily. She often takes a break from playing to seek out her humans for a soft lap and snuggles. Katie kennels well and is working on potty training and leash walking. Katie will likely be a medium sized dog.
