Name: Jay Age: 3 years old. Breed: Mixed Wirehaired Terrier Gender: Male Weight: 20# Good with kids: Yes (can be jumpy, but seems trainable, may be best with larger children). Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Lake Linden, MICHIGAN Application & Website: ⁦https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html⁩ Bio: Meet Jay, the life of the party! Jay was a little shy at first, but once he checked out his surroundings and met his foster family, hello extrovert! If you're looking for a fun and active dog who loves to give and receive attention and seems to play well with other playful dogs, Jay is your man. If you're a couch potato, keep looking, he is not for you. Jay loves to be in the action, and will follow the action (you) where it goes throughout the house. Jay is an epic splooter, and owns the position everytime he lays down. Jay has been overnighting and taking breaks during the day in his crate and is doing great with that space! He is picking up quickly on using the bathroom outside and is doing great in a fenced yard. Toys are a necessity for Jay and he's the kind of dog that would thrive in doggy day care play scenario. He is also learning (there is work to do here folks!) how to have manners, like no jumping on people. His foster family is teaching him how to walk on a leash. This boy is smart and treat motivated and with guidance from his forever people he has tons of potential! Looking for a dog to love who shows love back and wants to be part of the action – pick Jay! This guy is said to be around 3, but he hasn't outgrown those puppy-like play qualities. If Jay has a middle name, it would be "Fun." Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.
