Meet Hornby! DOB: August 2022Weight: 27 lbsDisposition: Friendly, Out-going, PlayfulHistory: At just six months old, Hornby was found abandoned and restrained by a short leash on a rice field in Thailand. Given that it is one of the hottest months in Phuket, with temperatures soaring up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, we dread to imagine what would have happened to Hornby if she had of been left alone for much longer. Her body temperature had already elevated due to the prolonged exposure to the heat, but fortunately, our veterinary team were able to help cool her down. Having no understanding of why she had been left alone, Hornby was so relieved and excited to see the Soi Dog Emergency Response Team. Despite everything she had been through, she was so friendly and trusting of humans still. After a short stay in the hospital at Soi Dog Foundation, Hornby was well enough to move to a dog run where she can socialized with other young dogs and received lots of attention from her handler.
