Meet Harry: Your New Best Friend Looking for a lovable, playful companion to brighten your home? Meet Harry, a purebred pug with a heart full of affection and energy to match! Born on January 10, 2022, Harry is neutered, weighs around 20 lbs, and is ready to find his forever home. Harry was surrendered through no fault of his own, and he’s ready to put down roots with a loving family who can give him the attention and love he deserves. His sweet, affectionate nature makes him a great fit for nearly any home, and he’ll reward you with endless cuddles and companionship. A Little About Harry: House trained: Harry used to mark occasionally, but now he’s a 100% house-trained boy when kept on a regular schedule. He will wear a belly band so a few days of that in his new home might be a good idea while he settles in. Playful: He loves squeaky toys, chew bones, and will happily entertain himself (and you!) with his special blanket—he loves to lick, shake, and play tug of war with it. Dog friendly: Harry gets along great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and genders! He’s the perfect playmate. Kid friendly: He’s good with kids of all ages, but watch out—Harry’s a bit of a ninja when it comes to snacks, so be careful around food! He is a snack stealer extraordinaire and can be pretty bold about it! When food isn’t around though, he loves to snuggle kids and play with them just like adults! Crate trained: Harry is crate-trained and sleeps peacefully in his kennel overnight, but he loves to snuggle in bed in the mornings. Cats: We do not know how he would do around cats although we don’t believe he would have any issue learning to coexist with a feline sibling. While Harry used to be a bit anxious when he first arrived, after settling into his foster home for a month now, he’s become a much more relaxed and confident pup. He’s still a playful spirit with a hint of mischievousness—if left unsupervised, Harry might chew on hair ties or get into a little trouble. However, with a good walk or some time in a secure, fenced yard, his energy is well spent. Just make sure the fence is secure—he’s got a knack for turning an escape into a game! Overall, Harry is a sweet boy that would do well in just about any home ready to welcome in a funny active little pugtato!
