Critter Details

Griffin was found with his brothers and sisters when they were three weeks old in an abandoned house.  Poor Griffin found himself separated from them because he had ringworm and his siblings didn't.  He was so sad to be quarantined all by his lonesome for two weeks.  But his foster mom kept his cage near other older kittens who also had ringworm so he could at least talk to them and feel not so alone.  Soon enough they all were playing together, and Griffin showed that might be a lot smaller than them, but he matched their energy and wrestling capacity.  His foster family frequently found them having spontaneous races and wrestling matches throughout the house!  Griffin reminded his foster family of the little brother who ALWAYS wants to be with his older brothers and do what they are doing! That also means cuddling with them, where they often give him baths.  But Griffin is also often found cat napping on his own….or on top of a human companion!  He has made frequent appearances on zoom meetings by climbing up the back of his foster dad and perching himself on his shoulder.  He likes to make biscuits, play in boxes, and bat around random things that find their way onto the ground (last night it was a rouge Brussel sprout).   Griffin would make a great addition to any house with another kitty who loves to play, or he can be adopted with one of his foster siblings.  He would also be good in a house with kiddos.  He was scared by the huge retriever at a babysitter's house, but with time and proper introduction to dogs who are cat savvy, he would do just fine. Griffin was born in August 2024 and is currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland. His adoption donation is $135, which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.   If you would like more information on Griffin, please contact Ellyn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
