Wrapped in a sleek black coat with a charming little white blaze on his chest, Gravy is an affectionate, large-sized pup who tips the scales at sixty-eight pounds of pure love. He’s always on the lookout for a cozy nap buddy, especially if it means he can snuggle close and get some belly rubs! Gravy isn’t just about naps—he’s a playful boy who enjoys chew toys and is always ready for a good game. His sharp ears perk up at the sound of food falling to the floor, and he’ll be there in a flash to clean up any crumbs. Gravy is a smart cookie, too! He knows all the basic commands, like sit, stay, shake, come, and lie down, making him a joy to have around for any caregiver looking for a well-trained companion. Looking for a travel buddy? Gravy is your guy! Whether it’s a short trip to the park or a long road trip adventure, he’s a great passenger who enjoys the journey just as much as the destination. To keep transparent, Gravy does have a bite history, which stems from moments of anxiety triggered by noise, lots of people, or commotion. One of his triggers includes resource guarding, primarily with food, new toys, and his sleeping area. Because of this, Gravy would thrive in a calm, quiet home without small children or other dogs. He would do best in an environment with minimal new visitors and a stable routine where he can feel safe and secure. Gravy lived peacefully with a cat in his previous home and has since formed a wonderful bond with his current feline housemate.
