Meet Geronimo, a handsome grey tabby man! This resilient guy is adjusting to life at the shelter and is looking for a loving home to continue his journey. Geronimo enjoys the company of people! He will follow his caretakers around, solicit pets, and absolutely enjoys being held. Sometimes, if you stop giving him affection or if he gets a little overstimulated, you’ll notice he gives a sweet little nibble or may press his paw onto your hand, but this is just his way of saying he’s loving the attention!  When Geronimo was found on the streets, we noticed that his eyes seemed to bother him. This is because his eyelids and lashes were rubbing against his eyes, causing him a lot of discomfort! We’ve corrected this with surgery, and he is healing very well! Now, with his vision improved, Geronimo is settling into the shelter and starting to explore his playful side. Sociability: With People: Geronimo loves to be the center of your attention. He may be ok around older children, with proper introduction.  With Cats: He is great around other cats, making him a potential fit for a multi-cat household. With Dogs: Geronimo’s experience with dogs is unknown. Geronimo is FIV+, but that is really no big deal. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives and also live happily with non-FIV cats without issue.
