Meet Escada! DOB: March 2022Weight: 40 lbsDisposition: Friendly, Confident, SweetHistory: The world can be a dangerous place for a puppy in Thailand, especially when you have no one to look out for you, which was the case for little Escada. When she was just eleven weeks old, Escada was found caught in a fishing trap. With no way to escape, she must have been terrified. Thankfully, someone was able to free her, but the trap had caused extensive damage to her right hind leg. Being so young and vulnerable, Escada wouldn’t have had a chance of recovering on the streets. Instead, she would have suffered in excruciating pain – all before she was even six months old. We’re not sure how Escada became stuck in a fish trap, but we do know that if it wasn’t for the kind person that rescued her and took her to Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket, she probably wouldn’t be here today. Thankfully, she was given a chance. After a few months of recovery, Escada made a complete recovery. She is friendly, confident and sweet who likes to play outside with her friends. She came to The Barking Lot in October 2024 hoping to find her forever people.Best Home: Active single or couple who enjoy taking their adorable & oh-so grateful pup along for the fun!Video link: https://youtu.be/DVUdOhFrdG8?si=6cs_rrrYe5hTzD9EIf you’re interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adoptOur dogs are located in San Diego County, CA.
