For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page. I'm Eloise, originally I came from the outside, but I am loving the inside life! I've learned the litterbox very quickly. I also love to sleep next to my human in bed! I am a very vocal girl and generally, I have a lot to say…no surprise after all, as I am a calico girl! I love playing with my litter mate, cat tunnels, toys and towers that allow me to look out of the window! I have your typical kitten energy! I'm great at playing with my fosters resident kitties once I get to know them. I would do better going to a house with another kitten my age, such as my brother or another kitten or young cat! Please consider me to be your new best friend! Eloise-Maize is from an owner surrender with one sibling. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
