As a puppy, Elle landed in a shelter so far south in Texas, it’s only 30 miles from the Mexican border – and the shelter routinely has 1200+ animals in its care. Despite having such an enormous number to care for, shelter staff do an amazing job with all their dogs and Elle is fantastic with humans and wonderful in playgroup with other dogs – she has been so well socialized with other dogs! Unfortunately, there is a massively skewed ratio of available homes to dogs in the area – so her only hope of getting a home is out of state.    Elle is truly such a big ol’ sweetie who loves, loves, loves human attention and wants nothing more than to know who her humans, where she belongs. She has all that awesome young-dog energy and is ready to accompany her humans on all those adventures – sniffy walks around the neighborhood, romps in parks, and trips to the beach – the mountains – Starbucks for pup cups – she’s up for it all. Making new pup and people pals along the way would be terrific too.    She’s gonna be an amazing companion. What do you say? Will she be yours?
