Meet Dory– Your Brindle Unicorn Companion!Looking for a dog who’s equal parts sweetness, smarts, and charm? Meet Dory, a stunning 18 month old brindle girl with a heart of gold. Here’s why Dory might just be the perfect addition to your home:Personality & Temperament: Dory is a true sweetheart with a friendly wag and a warm greeting for everyone she meets. She's great with people and other dogs, making her an ideal addition to most families. She’s not clingy but loves being around her humans, content to snooze nearby while you work or go about your day. With medium energy, Dory enjoys walks, runs, and hikes but doesn’t need intense daily exercise. A walk through the neighborhood or a few playful moments are enough to make her happy. Afterward, she’ll nudge you to head home for some well-deserved rest.Impeccable House Manners: Dory is a dream indoors. She sits patiently before coming inside and waits to have her paws wiped. She has fantastic table manners, never begs, and has yet to show any interest in counter-surfing. Training is her forte – she picks up commands quickly and aims to please, especially when rewarded with her favorite treats like freeze-dried lamb lung or bacon bits. Clicker training and hand signals? She’s already excelling!Snuggle & Sleep Time: At night, Dory is happy to sleep on a dog bed or couch, but she truly loves to settle in at the foot of your bed, staying watchful and close. She is calm around new people, polite with visitors and delivery drivers, and rarely barks.Car Rides & Outings: Dory loves car rides! She settles right in when tethered, enjoying the comfort of “her bed” in the car. While crates aren’t her favorite, Dory is trustworthy when left at home alone and hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors. No Cats, Please: Dory’s only caveat? Cats. Her prey drive around them is strong, and she finds it hard to resist pursuing them. With a cat-free environment, her anxiety decreases, allowing her to relax and show off just how unicorn-like she truly is.Your Perfect Companion: Dory is gentle, attentive, and an all-around joy. Her deep, kind eyes melt with affection when being praised, and she’s always ready to match your energy, whether it’s time for an adventure or lounging around. Plus, her gorgeous brindle coat is sure to turn heads wherever she goes.If you’re ready to welcome an amazing, loyal, and sweet dog into your life, Dory is waiting to meet you! Reach out today to make her part of your family. If you would like to further inquire on this animal, please fill out an adoption application.
