Critter Details

Meet Cracker, a mellow black cat with charming white sprinkles throughout his fur—a testament to his age and the life he’s lived. At around 8-9 years old, Cracker’s face tells a story of tough times on the streets, but we know a home that will cherish his is out there. Since coming into our care, Cracker has been nothing but sweet and adoring of gentle affection. Cracker enjoys head pets, chin scratches, and soft body pets! While he’s unsure about being held, he loves curling up on soft surfaces where he can be the center of attention. He’s probably even meow at you until you come over to check him out and spend time with him! Cracker is still figuring out his favorite toy, but maybe it’s as simple as he just prefers human company. He has a slower pace and would likely make a great companion for a calm household.  Sociability: With People: Cracker loves to be around his caretakers, but we do not know if he has met children or how he would respond.   With Cats: He seems to be okay around other cats. With Dogs: His experience with dogs is unknown. Cracker is FIV+, but that is no big deal! We have found that FIV+ cats tend to be extra lovey-dovey and can live long, healthy lives.  FIV+ cats can also live and play with non-FIV+ cats.   Come meet Cracker at our Willow Grove Shelter!
