Cooper is ready for his close-up with a radiant smile for everyone he meets. He is a happy-go lucky 1.5-year-old Black Labrador mixed breed boy with an interesting brindle coat and gobs of gusto for companions and play as he awaits his forever home and family. At 57 pounds, Cooper is a medium size dog eager to play with dogs of all sizes and kids of all ages. It is not known currently whether Cooper enjoys spending time with cats.Cooper is already leash trained and house trained and is working on his crate training. It is important to remember that although he is housetrained accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. If crate training is planned, Cooper needs a crate that is big enough for him to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out and Cooper needs time to explore his crate and go in and out as he wishes. Crates must never be used for punishment. Labradors are smart and eager to please their people so clear some time in your day, some room in your home and plenty of room in your heart, add in consistent positive training with plenty of encouragement and Cooper will flash his beautiful smile at you all day long. The adoption fee for Cooper is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
