Check out Clyde !   11/30: Clyde is almost finished with his Heartworm treatments – he's in the final stage (4-6 weeks of restricted activity), waiting for the last treatment to work its magic.  In the meantime, he's been enjoying the puppies, helping the mom keep them in line.  He's met (and approved of) all of the puppy adopters so far.  From the foster:  Clyde's been a wonderful addition to our home.  He enjoys being near you, whether it's watching tv, cooking, or on the computer – he's happy to quietly keep you company.  He really misses taking long walks and racing around the yard (on restricted activity due to heartworm treatment).  He's been great with any children who have come to visit and is fine with our cat. 10/24 : Clyde has his first Heartworm treatment today and did great !!!! 30 days of calm and then Clyde goes back for #2 and #3 on day 31 and 32 and then 4-6 weeks of restricted activity and our boy ( and probably proud Papa) is ready to run and play !   ______ Moderately sized at 60 lbs, Clyde is an ideal size & personality for someone not ready for a standard size GSD.   Clyde's sweet demeanour extends not only to humans , but also to other dogs and cats…… We don't know how he ended up in a shelter but we are so glad we could give him a ride out.  Clyde is Heartworm positive and has already started the first part of his treatment. Next month, Clyde will have his first Heartworm injection , and 30 days later his 2nd and then his 3rd.
