Critter Details

Caden’s story is heartbreaking yet filled with hope. He arrived at the shelter covered in wounds, likely from bite marks, leading us to believe he may have been used as a bait dog. While we can never know for sure what horrors he endured, his sad, soulful eyes tell a story of pain and loss. Caden spent nearly a year in the shelter with no one stepping forward to offer him a home, and he was facing euthanasia when a compassionate volunteer stepped in. This amazing person paid for Caden to attend board and train, giving him a second chance to heal and prepare for a foster or adopter. We are eagerly awaiting the day when those sad eyes are filled with joy, and Caden finally finds the loving home he’s always deserved.
