Meet Burt, a lovable senior dog with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love! At 10 years old, Burt may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of joy and companionship to offer. This wise and affectionate pup enjoys leisurely strolls in the park, cozy naps in the sun, and snuggling up with his favorite humans.   Burt’s calm demeanor makes him a perfect fit for a relaxed home environment, where he can enjoy his days surrounded by love.   While Burt may not be as energetic as he once was, he has a wealth of experience and love to share. He's looking for a forever home that will appreciate his mellow personality and cherish every moment with him.   If you're ready to welcome a loyal friend into your life, Burt might be just the dog you're looking for! Adopt Burt and give him the loving retirement he deserves. We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
