Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. This most stunning young lady, Blythe She is purebred chocolate lab. She’s about 3 years old. As a breeder surrender she didn’t appear to be accustomed to practices such as belly rubs, treats, verbal assurance and affection, or snuggles when she came to me. I will say she’s now very much a fan of all, especially belly and chest rubs!! She’s the prime example of what you envision when you hear the words “velcro dog”. She follows me everywhere I go and tries to get there before I do, even though she doesn’t know where there is. Here’s how I see it. She’s 3 years old and her love tank is 3 years in the negative, so she’s trying really hard to catch up. Her perfect family would not leave her home alone very often. She’s great with other dogs and children. At first she ignored the cats and just tried to stay out of their way. After my cats bullied her so many times, she will now growl and lunge at them, but never physically attacks. She immediately follows instructions to relocate. She is getting spayed this week, is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
