Critter Details

Meet 11 month old Benjamin – 90 lbs. of beefcake affection. According to his foster family, Benjamin is the total package – crates like a pro, puts his business where it belongs, walks nicely on a leash, sweet, minimal barking, and lives harmoniously with kids and dogs. Benjamin walks with a limp as he recovers from an avulsion fracture to his left hind leg.  But that does not curb his enthusiasm for people or his zest for life. We think Benjamin may be a Rottweiler mix, but we are not sure. If this big mush sounds like your future best buddy, don’t delay, apply today! If you are interested in adopting Benjamin, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.   ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
