happy young boy ready to play! BEETLEJUICE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Beetlejuice       Best Guess for Breed:   Lab and hound mix Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of October 2024     SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 30 lbs as of 9/19/24; he is still growing!   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested.   Currently Living at:   Rural shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride here on Saturday 10/12.   Beetlejuice is Looking For:   His forever home! He and his pal, likely littermate, Batman were found together, stray, by an animal control officer. (They aren’t bonded and weren’t kenneled together in their shelter.) Shelter staff told them all about the wonderful things lying in wait for them when they get their forever homes. Lots of play time, lots of sniffy walks, world exploration – and being safe and loved and under their own roofs! They can’t wait – they want to make lots of pup pals and go to dog school to show how super smart they are too.    This is what shelter staff say about him: ‘Beetlejuice with his perfect heart-nose, is an energetic puppy who loves to have fun! Whether it’s learning to sit for treats with a volunteer or splashing through the mud with the other shelter dogs, Beetlejuice is game and appreciates the invitation! Beetlejuice is working on his leash skills and doing well. He loves attention and is very treat/food motivated so training this guy should be a blast!’    What do you say?
