Bear is a handsome, approximately 10 year young neutered male lab mix who found himself without a home after a medical emergency with his human.    At 85lbs, he’s a large but chill dude who loves neighbourhood walks, napping in the great outdoors, and a peaceful adult only home where things are quiet and chill just like him. A fenced in yard, a human to dote on and a pet-free home is all he's asking for.    This fellow is smart, housetrained, and knows all of his basic commands. He is fine being handled at the vet (he was quite the lady's man with all the female techs giving him their attention), and was in for a dental cleaning (one tooth extracted) and hip x-rays.  Bear is on Librela shots for arthritis in his hips, and is otherwise in great health.  His x-rays showed mild arthritis but no major flags)   Bear shows mild interest in strangers, mostly ignoring them.  He prefers to be left in a room vs a crate when someone isn’t home, and will sometimes bark for 30 seconds or so when his humans leave, after which he  will settle down and relax.  Bear loves walks, and is good on a leash, however he will pull towards interesting smells, or if he sees a cat.   As a connoisseur of all things food, and lounging in a gentle breeze, Bear would love to find someone to share these finer things in life with, living out his golden years in the comfort he deserves.  He's a loyal, steadfast kind of  guy, and would make a wonderful companion
