happy young boy ready to play! BATMAN NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Batman       Best Guess for Breed:   Lab and hound mix Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of October 2024     SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 29 lbs as of 9/19/24; he is still growing!   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested.   Currently Living at:   Rural shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride here on Saturday 10/12.   Batman is Looking For:   His forever home! He and his pal, likely littermate, Beetlejuice were found together, stray, by an animal control officer. (They aren’t bonded and weren’t kenneled together in their shelter.) Shelter staff told them all about the wonderful things lying in wait for them when they get their forever homes. Lots of play time, lots of sniffy walks, world exploration – and being safe and loved and under their own roofs! They can’t wait – they want to make lots of pup pals and go to dog school to show how super smart they are too.    This is what shelter staff say about him: ‘Batman is a very sweet, playful pup. He loves to play with other dogs. They’ll take turns ‘stealing’ toys from each other! He’s working on ‘sit’ and getting there! This pup doesn’t know a stranger. When you greet him, he gets all happy and starts little zoomie circles and wiggles like he hears his theme song in his head. He doesn’t mind a body massage on his soft fur. Batman loves treats and thinks everything is fun so training should go well with him!   What do you say?
