One-year-old Bambi is new here and has been a bit shy and timid but is growing in confidence every day. She doesn’t care for all of the noise at our facility but relaxes once she gets further away from the shelter.She walks easily on leash and becomes oh so playful in the leaves and grassy hills. Already being described as a sweetheart, Bambi will come out of her shell in a home environment and will blossom with patience and an adopter who can help her gain confidence and trust.If this sounds like the dog for you, then come meet her during our walk-in hours Friday and Saturday or by appointment Monday through Thursday, 11-3. Adoption fees are $50 and include microchip, neuter, and all up-to-date vaccinations. Adoptions are always free for veterans. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
