New albino pup to DRM! Meet our little five month old albino puppy Aurora. As a little puppy Aurora is not very nippy, but jumpy and should be supervised around small children for she may accidentally knocked them over. When outside, she enjoys playing chase with you and other dogs. It is easy for her to get the zummies outside. She likes to chase the ball when thrown, but it’s still learning to bring it back. She prefers you to be outside and playing with her, but will play independently inside. Her favorite toys are the soccer ball, a volleyball ball and a rope. She’s very food motivated and loves her Kong. She is proven to be very good with cats and small dogs. Aurora has a low pre-drive, she typically ignores squirrels on walks and is curious about our cat, but has never chased them. When Aurora is in the crate, she will whine if she needs to go out, but went outside of the crate, she is still learning to signal when she has to use the bathroom. She is a very energetic puppy who needs a couple of big playtimes during the day. She typically has two big playtimes in the yard per day and walks every other. Once she is tired out she likes to cuddle up next to you on the couch or take a nap in her crate It is advised with her being a puppy that she is not to be left alone for as puppies typically do, anything she sees she wants to put in her mouth. She is learning the commands of sit, down, walking on leash and general puppy obedience commands. It is highly recommended that she have a fenced in yard for she is still working on her recall The Foster has a physical fence, but she likes to dart out the gate and try to get past you when you are opening it. Aurora is proving to be a very good watch puppy and likes to alert. On a recent walk, they passed a house that had some Halloween decorations up, the decorations included cute smiling little pumpkins scattered on the lawn. Aurora made sure to tell them that she was the boss by giving them a good bark and keeping her eye on them as they passed. Thanks to the brave little pup, they were all well protected from the pumpkins on their walk. LOL! Good girl Aurora! This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog.
