See Annie: at the shelter’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is one of three dogs found running amok in a local housing area. The three sisters were picked up by our animal control officers, and upon physical assessment it was discovered that Annie had a hole in her side! She spent a week at the Animal hospital, recovering from not only the wound but from anemia, most likely due to parasites. Annie is a sweet girl, who is still learning to walk on leash and trust humans to do the right thing for her. She weighs about 40 pounds, and we don’t feel she will be any larger. Because of her unique  Body structure and coat you may be wondering why she is listed as a poodle mix. We have good reason for that! The similarities between Annie and her sisters (Aggie and Allie) and other dogs picked up in the same area who have had DNA testing are interesting; her coat has tufts of longer hair that look much like the other ones. We’ve added a photo of the DNA test of a younger puppy for major. It’s a guess, but it’s fun. Annie likes other dogs and has a good time making friends and enjoying treats. She is about a year to a year and a half old.    PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
