Meet Andy: a sweet, affectionate purring machine. He loves to give kisses and he looks forward to his nightly brushing sessions. Before crashing on the table during his neuter and sustaining some brain damage as a result, he was a very energetic and spunky kitten. Fortunately for his future adopter, none of that changed, and he is still energetic and spunky! Andy had to re-learn how to eat, walk, run, and play, but he made the recovery seem easy. He also sustained some vision loss, which resulted in his wariness of new situations, locations, and other felines.Because of his limited vision and his tendency to stay in a location he feels most comfortable in, I decided to give him his own bedroom. I leave the door open so that he can venture out when he wishes to. He explores occasionally, but he stays close to his room so he can scuttle back when something spooks him (even though he doesn’t spook very easily!). He would probably do best in a home where he is the only pet, the only cat, or in a home with a dog (or dogs) that would respect his boundaries. Designating a location in your home for him to call his own is essential.Application Tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions Questions 210furbabyfoster@gmail.comTo inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions All fosters under the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition: Community Cat Adoption Program are fostered privately through foster homes.
